Michelle DeChant is founder and owner of Internos Initiatives, LLC, a marketing services and strategic consulting firm, specializing in cause-focused strategies for businesses and non-profit organizations. With over 30 years in the marketing field, Michelle draws on her experience and skill to help clients develop marketing initiatives that clearly communicate to their customers.
Michelle holds a B.S. degree in Business, Management and Economics with a concentration in marketing management from Empire State College, State University of New York. She served on the board of the Finger Lakes Chapter of the American Marketing Association, and was a founding member of the Ithaca Marketing Group. For 17 years she was employed at American Demographics, Inc., a national publishing company owned by Dow Jones & Company. As Advertising Director for the flagship magazine, American Demographics, she was responsible for a multi-million dollar budget and managed a national sales staff. She was instrumental in the development of a second magazine, Marketing Tools, and was promoted to the publisher position at its launch. Internos was launched in the fall of 2001.
Through INTERNOS, she has developed many multi-year relationships with her clients, providing stable, dependable marketing expertise and strategic consulting for the non-profit and profit sectors.
